John Fletcher will be the driver to make sure that the medical/fitness vision gets properly executed. He is the primary architect of the medical/fitness model & is known as a visionary among his colleagues. His expertise is pioneering innovative financial engineering solutions through the development of asset management strategies, engineering innovative investment strategies, structured products, proprietary trading strategies, investment banking strategies and health engineering programs.
Shela Fletcher
CEO & Co-Founder of HEG
Shela Fletcher graduated from Boston Univerisity with top honors with a Masters in Energy and Environmental Analysis. She has worked for the White House Council on Environmental Quality and for a major Fortune 500 company. Her awards received include, Prize for Excellence in Environmental Studies, Trustee Scholar, Green Leaf National Honor Society, Golden Key Honor Society, Honorable Mention for The Morris K. Udall Scholarhsip & Excellence in National Environmental Policy Foundation, and Phi Theta Kappa. Shela has held many leadership positions and brings a passion for health, as well as a firm vision of continually creating a corporate culture of excellence, responsible empowerment, respect, and world class professionalism for Health Engineering Group.
Paul Grymkowski
Co-Founder of HEG Fitness & HEG, President & International Director of HEG Fitness
President of Gold Gym?s Franchising for 20+ years, was the first to pioneer and successfully develop a fitness franchising & licensing business model to over 538+ worldwide locations in over 27 countries. Paul has extensive domestic & global fitness contacts & is an integral part of successfully launching this Medical/Fitness model. Paul was able to take a single gym in Venice Beach, California to become a global household name in the major metropolitan centers of the world. The Gold?s Gym brand to this day is considered to be one of the most powerful fitness brands in the world.
Don Lightfoot
President & International Director for HEG Benefit Systems
Mr. Lightfoot formed The Grant Group,an employee benefit consulting and marketing company, after more than 30 years as a senior executive with major insurance companies and benefit consulting firms. He is well know in the industry and has been involved in creating, marketing, selling and administering many innovative employee benefit programs.
He is credited with being responsible for the selling of more employee benefit programs to Fortune 500 companies to (70+ F500 clients), unions (UAW) and other large organizations, including governmental entities (U.S. Army, the State of Michigan and the Federal Reserve), over the past 40 years than any other professional in the industry.
While earning the Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) and Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS) designations, Mr. Lightfoot became a frequent writer to many trade journals, and speaker to many organizations, including the prestigious National Business Group on Health (NBGH) and the American Management Association (AMA) organizations on various employee benefit topics. On one occasion, he represented the health and life insurance industry of the United States with a speech to the senior executives of the Japan Management Association, that included the CEO?s of Nippon and Sumitomo Life Insurance Companies?the largest such companies in the world.
Through the course of his successful career, Mr. Lightfoot co-developed and sold the first PPO in America, and the first group legal plan, while with Prudential Group, to the Chrysler Corporation. As former head of the Special Group Department at Blue Cross of California, he designed and implemented a statewide General Agency system that significantly increased sales which eventually went nationwide. While heading up the Sedgwick James Consulting Group, reporting to Sax Riley, who is currently Chair of Lloyds of London, Mr. Lightfoot introduced many new employee benefit programs for the consulting staff in their 56 offices in America, and consulted with many companies throughout North America, Europe, Asia and Jordan in the middle east.
Most recently, his efforts have been directed toward marketing employee benefits that provide greater access, convenience and affordability and have a high ROI for clients, and that have a serious impact on the broken healthcare system in America, and other benefit costs that continue to be out of control.
Mr. Lightfoot is also proud to be a decorated former Marine recon/sniper and part American Indian heritage from the Blackfoot Tribe.
Rob Plomgren
Chief Operating Officer of Health Engineering Group
Rob has been in the financial services arena since 1982. Currently, he focuses his efforts on operational and financial issues as a founding principal of Health Engineering Group. He served as Managing Director for Galen Capital Group, LLC, a premier health care merchant bank from 2002 through 2004.
Rob served as a Managing Director of Venture Banking with ColumbusNewport from 1998 to 2001. His primary role was co-managing the origination, structure and placement of the firm?s equity transactions.
Prior to joining ColumbusNewport, Rob operated as an interim executive specializing in strategic planning and operational management for closely held companies. He served as acting President of a consumer products company, where he developed new domestic and international distribution channels, re-oriented product lines and prepared the company for its eventual acquisition.
Previously, Rob spent 16 years in the investment and securities industry, where he developed an expertise in the formation, administration and marketing of private placements and public offerings for middle market companies. He co-managed total placements in excess of $800 million in such diverse industries as mortgage servicing, cable television, environmental services, medical technologies and manufacturing.
As a partner in the financial advisory firm of Stout, Plomgren and Waner, located in Southern California, Rob designed and implemented investment management, tax, retirement and estate planning strategies for corporate executives and high net worth individuals. Rob has held the Certified Financial Planner and Registered Investment Advisor designations as well as Series 24, 7, 63 and 65 Securities Licenses.
Rob received his undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of Redlands, located in Southern California.
